A Life Snippet | Summer Plans/Jenn's House/Sephora Haul

Welp, that was a blogging hiatus that took longer than I intended. By the time you're reading this, I'll probably be at the city's aquarium...unless you're reading this at 5am. Then no, I'll probably still be "sprawled out like a starfish" on my bed (my brother's actual words to describe my sleeping position) unless my dog has decided to claim 3/4 of the bed.

Anyways, finally done classes for the semester!! (...but not exams yet, what a tease) And of course, after I handed my last essay, my mom would immediately take me swimwear shopping, heh. I don't blame her though, because we're currently planning a trip to the Caribbean and to London/UK/Europe as my graduation trip AND WE ARE MAD EXCITE.

Right now, we've (well, I've) got our sights set on St. Lucia, but if you've ever been down to the Caribbean, feel free to leave me recommendations! (I originally wanted to go to the Bahamas/Paradise Island, but after seeing those prices...LOLBYE)

This past weekend I went to Jenn's house for the first time and we watched the pilots of two of my favourite showsOnce Upon A Time and ~BLACK SAILS~. We also shopped each other's makeup stash (post on that soon!) and walked around her neighbourhood. (Jenn, if you ever want a roommate...I VOLUNTEER)(Also, can we just take a moment to appreciate her DESKTOP WALLPAPER)

Jenn wanted to check out her local David's Tea, so...of course I ended up buying my first David's Tea...teas.
(Oh looks guys, another thing for me to obsessively buy!)

And, because it's currently 15% off at Sephora, I picked up a few things, including Tarte's Airbrush Foundation and Bobbi Brown's Pot Rouges in 'Hibiscus' and 'Calypso Coral'...because... I 'needed' more corals.

(Actually, I lied, I got 'Hibiscus' from Holt's, since it's limited edition and Sephora doesn't carry limited edition blushes which is a TRAVESTY)

Funny story, my dad wanted a candle from Bath and Body Works. My dad...who is the manliest man I know...smokes, works in the construction sector, etc etc. WANTED A FRUITY SCENTED CANDLE. Anyways, since Bath and Body had a 2/$25.50 sale for their three wick candles, I picked up the candle he wanted (Pineapple Mango) and snagged this Lemon Mint Leaf candle for myself. LEMON MINT LEAF....WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE???? IT'S AS AMAZING AS IT SOUNDS LIKE, GUYS, AND THAT MINT COLOUR...AKSJADKLS.
___________________________________________________________________________

And that, my friends, is why I've been away. Being a forth year university student during deadlines week is 1/10, would not recommend, but least I'm graduating this year!

Anyways, enough about me, what have you guys been up to as of late? Summer plans? If you guys did shop the Sephora sale, what did you get? ʘ‿ʘ

    1. Thanks! Right, hooray for graduation trips! Have fun in Beijing, it was an exhausting trip and you might find weird food at the street stalls (cough cough fried scorpions), but half the city is picturesque and the museums are AMAZING.

Likewise!! (Well, kinda, since I'll technically be finished school in June because summer school)

Omg, that totally sucks!! But it's good timing for me, since my addiction is heading into full swing!
Well, I know that collection was a Holt's exclusive, but like, Sephora carried the Dior spring collection in store but not the blush. Same with Bobbi Brown...I had to get that blush from the Nectar/Nude collection from Holt's

  4. I'm wearing my jealous face right now. You are going to have SO MUCH FUN. I want to travel more, but I've never even left North America before. I can't wait to read about your trip. Also, congrats on graduating!

I didn't like the winter candles at Bath & Body Works, but I'm looking forward to checking out the new scents! Also, I'm too scared to shop the Sephora sale. I have no self control lately, and discounted cosmetics will be the end of me. :P

Whoah, never even left North America??? GURRLLL. Well, there's plenty of local getaways too, so you don't necessarily have to go far to have fun! (E.g. cottage!) & thanks!!

Yeah, I wasn't too big a fan on the winter ones sold at BBW stores, but I did go to their outlet and find some amazing ones. UGH, TELL ME ABOUT IT. MY POOR WALLET.

My summer plans are a bit boring - except for SDCC & traveling to San Francisco/Berkley for my sister's college orientation. The beach is just a short drive for us but I'd love to travel elsewhere!
I think I'm going to go back to Sephora & get some new skincare bits, but other than that I'm happy with what I got!
